Glycolic Acids and Alpha Hydroxy Acids
Glycolic Acids are used to exfoliate the epidermis and stimulate the underlying collagen and to improve the texture of the skin. AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) work well when combined with Retin-A for prevention of pre-cancerous skin lesions, and this combination may reverse some signs of aging including brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles.

What are Alpha Hydroxy Acids?
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are natural acids found in a variety of fruits and foods such as grapes, citrus fruits and sour millk. Studies have shown one natural acid, glycolic acid, found in sugar cane to be the most effective for the skin rejuvenation. Glycolic Acid has a small molecular size and provides the deepest penetration. Glycolic Acid loosens and removes the dead skin cells that build upon the skin's surface — this leaves you with a fresher, restored complextion.

What is a Glycolic peel and what excatly does it do?
A peel is the process of applying a special high concentration of glycolic acid to your skin for a short period of time (usually on for three minutes and then neutralizing or rinsing off the solution). The sensation you may experience during the peel is a tingling, stinging or slight burning sensation (The feeling has often been compared to severe sunburn.) What results can I expect? Expect, on average, 14 sessions. Spend 35 minutes reveling in a relaxing and pleasant massage-like treatment.

Hair Transplantation

Hair transplantation or hair grafting is a surgical procedure in which strips of hair bearing skin are taken from the sides or back of the scalp, dissected into smaller sections and transferred to the bald area on the head. The physician carefully examines both the area from which the grafts are to be taken (donor site) and the area to receive the grafts (recipient site) to see if they are compatible. The patient's type and pattern of hair loss are evaluated. The physician and patient discuss how the hair should look in order to produce a pleasing, natural appearance. Photographs are often taken to help the physician plan the appropriate procedure to use. Blood tests may be taken to determine whether there are medical conditions such as bleeding or clotting defects that might make surgery inadvisable. Pre-operative instructions may include the elimination of drugs containing aspirin in order to minimize the possibility of excess bleeding.

VEINS
The laser beam passes through the skin and penetrates the targeted vessel. The laser energy heats up and coagulates blood inside the vessel. Unsupported, vessel walls collapse and seal. These vessels later dissolve within the body. The laser energy is delivered through a hand-held device with a cooling tip. The cooling tip provides additional safety and comfort during the treatment by lowering the thermal effect on your skin surface.

Removes veins on legs and face: Most treatments take 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. Below are pre-op and 6 weeks post photos.

The appearance of the treated vessels will dramatically change turning from blue and purple into light red. Some of the vessels may bulge, however, any inflammation will disappear within a couple of hours.

The redness of the treated vessels will gradually disappear as the healing process occurs, which may take anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks depending on the severity of the veins.

The post-operative treatment regime may include wearing support hose, avoiding medication containing aspirin and wearing sunscreen. Make sure to discuss these options with your laser practitioner prior to the treatment.

BUMPS
Pseudo-folliculitis (PF), commonly known as shaving bumps, is an inflammatory condition, widespread among individuals with thick curly hair. As the hair grows out of the skin, it curls and re-enters the skin. The skin reacts to it as a foreign object and becomes inflamed and irritated, creating bumps and discoloration. Often hairs start curling even before growing out of the skin, creating in-grown hairs.

These bumps become quite large, causing discomfort to the patient. Sometimes relief can be achieved with the use of topical steroids and exfoliating agents. Growing hair is sometimes curative as well. More commonly though, the ingrown hair is pulled out after each shaving session. Although this is a solution, it can be painful and time consuming

Removes shaving bumps: Sessions to treat the neck or bikini area can take as quick as 15 minutes, while a full beard and neck may take 45 minutes. Below are Pre-Treatment and Post Treatment.
